King George V School (KGV) is a co-educational secondary school under the English Schools Foundation (ESF) for students aged 11-18. It was founded in 1902 and transferred to its present site in Ho Man Tin in 1937. KGV has 1,800 students from a diverse range of nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

The school offers an academically rigorous curriculum. In Years 7 to 9 the students follow our own skills based curriculum, and this will transition to IB Middle Years Programme for the 2017 -18 academic year. Students in Years 10 and 11 take approximately nine GCSE or IGCSE subjects. Students in Years 12 and 13 study either for the IB Diploma or the Applied Learning Pathway. PE is a core subject for all students through Years 7 to 13. The school also offers GCSE PE, IB Diploma Sports and Health Exercise Science and BTEC Level 3 Sports.
